Services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen with Rev. James “Oz” Gray officiating. Burial will follow at the Woods Cemetery, Kingfisher Rd., Bolair.
Friends may join the family from 11:00 am until time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.

Clarice Arlene Taylor, 79, of Cowen passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 23, 2019 at her residence. She was born September 21, 1939 in Jumbo, a daughter of the late Otha L. and Hazel Ruth Schrader Cummings.
Clarice was a 1958 graduate of Cowen High School and went to work for the Webster County Board of Education as an aide at Cowen Grade School, later moving into a secretary position at Glade Elementary, where she retired after more than 30 years. She was instrumental in the planning of the Cowen Alumni Banquet for many years. She was involved in the Cheerful Diggers 4-H Club for many years, a former member of the Cowen Women’s Club and Cowen Garden Club. Clarice was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church and enjoyed her flowers, camping and watching sports on television, but most of all her love was for her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, George Taylor, children, Sherry Lynn (Randy) Hines of Upper Glade, George Alan (Sarah) Taylor of Topsail, North Carolina and Mike (Kelly) Taylor of Cowen, siblings, Marquette (Harold) Vannoy of Jacksonville, Florida, Margaret Goodwin of Weston, Gary Cummings of Allentown, Pennsylvania and Mabel (Delbert) Tyler of Alum Creek, grandchildren, Jeremy, Michelle, Cody, Cole, Lyndy, Shannon, Jazmine, Arreta, Michael, Kassie and Michael Foster, great-grandchildren, Gracie, Elizabeth, Mackynzie, Jersey, Allana, Kayleigh and Anika.
In addition to her parents, sister Carmen Melanson and grandson Mitchell Sanson preceded her in death.
